Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Good choice also, Herman. Many thanks for making observations of all 4 candidates.
Re: NEW CANDIDATES
André Martins = 1st Choice. I like the fact that Andres was willing as I was to wait until the end of the season to join. He has a similar GPRO career just a few more seasons in Ammy's. Seems to have backtracked a little in Ammy's in terms of season position, but if I had continued to flounder on my own, I might have been in a similar situation.
Tomasz Reda - 2nd CHoice. Knows how to use Excel, could that be useful??? Seems excited about it so could be a good one too. Seems to be doing well in Rookies and already knows more about setup than I likely did
The other two - Jon Davis and Stephon Jackson seem nice enough, but I would process the other two first and if they don't work out then look again and reconsider these two. Of course if others rank these two higher then I'll respect that. Take Care good luck in Brazil tomorrow, keep your masks on.

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Andre Martins - 1st
- Good amount of experience, well established in Amateur-32 for several seasons now.
- 6 full seasons of all 17 races, should be a reliable starter.
- One prior team, was a solid contributor to Paradigm Shift for 7 seasons. Only concern here is that he has 0 team forum posts...but his team may not have been very active in the forum.
- Does have supporter status.
- Seems friendly and very interested in joining the team. I think that, of the four, this is the best candidate!
Tomasz Reda - 2nd
- Unknown amount of experience, but clearly has some. He has won every race this season except the first one!
- Has raced all races so far this season.
- Prior teams unknown. None showing since he had to make a new account.
- Seems friendly in messages and does have supporter status. I think, he is a solid choice as well.
Stephon Jackson - 3rd
- Decent amount of experience, is doing well this season in Ammys (9th pos).
- 9 full seasons of 17 races, seems to be a reliable starter.
- One prior team, only there for 1.5 seasons. It wasn’t a very good team. All other racing has been solo.
- Not too interested in supporter status.
- Messages sound a bit casual, agreed Tommy. He doesn’t seem too interested...this, plus his team history indicates that he might be similar to David as a teammate.
Jon Davis - 4th
- Inexperienced, but does show understanding of the basics (4 wins out of 33 races).
- Has not completed a full season. Prior messages show this due to interest in other games.
- No prior teams yet.
- Past history has me expecting that he will stop racing in the middle of a season due to interest in other games/lack of interest in GPRO. ***However, he does have supporter status, which indicates possible long-term commitment to the game.

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
My Vote for Mick's replacement is for Tomasz as he has shown he has the desire and experience to win races.
If sadly we have lost Marcel for whatever reason I think Andre would be a good replacement

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Guys have a look...
I am having conversations with this candidate that Hansy has again kindly found for us.
Let´s see your comments here about him, but I think that he is the best so far...

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Gerard looks great! Considering the new candidate....
1. Gerard Westerhuis - best looking candidate so far. Both Hansy and Herman know him so shouldn't have to worry about personality or fitting into the team.
2. André Martins
3. Tomazs Reda -- He is hard to judge because we don't know his past history. Can he point us to his old account?

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
I know Gerard from the time of team MAX 33.
Certainly a player who will drive every race, and can be a good addition.
But quite frankly not that strong on the forum.
This can of course be different now.

He race all races,he is kind to listen to others, but he will not be the first to post or discuss about strategies,Gerard is like a follower, but for sure he will be good choice for the team

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Hey, fellas,
Just a quick message to tell you all to please discard and forget about the above new candidate, Gerard Westerhuis.
After very recent talks with him today, he confessed that he does have an issue with being a supporter and although he will not miss races, he is also not an active forum player and is not the best for continuous data and info posting.
So, what our friend Herman and now also Hansy explains, is quite right!
We now have a team that shows commitment in an all-round mode, with great all-round activities within the team. We can very well do without another type of David.
But I would however still like to thank Hansy for his help. Hansy has been fantastic in helping out with the search for top candidates. Thanks, Hansy, but this time we can leave this mate out.
Thanks, boys!
Tommy.

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Friends, I have also this morning received another message from candidate Nº 1, Jon Davis, here is his message...
From: Jon Davis (Rookie - 119)
To: Tomás Coelho (Amateur - 73)
Received: Today at 02:49:24
Subject: Re: Hi
Hi Tommy,
I am fully committed playing this game long term and I appreciate the racing today as i have a full understanding of the sports. Unlike before, i only knew the drivers, brands and their cool race cars. But now, I appreciate it more since i have understanding on the unseen side as well like aerodynamics, tyre compounds etc. Also, i can now afford to buy myself supporter feature to enjoy this game.
I do not think that my first 2 seasons are memorable to me as i only played for a couple of races and do not have full commitment since i played other text based sports during that time.
i am always looking forward to learn even the tiniest details of this game as well as the sport.
Thanks

Yes, Jon does sound keen to join us...and seems promising. But we shall see!!

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
Revised ranking regarding the new information/messages from the candidates...
Andre Martins - 1st
Jon Davis - 2nd - seems really eager to join!
Tomasz Reda - 3rd - Would be a good choice if one of the others backs out
Edit, messed up the order

Re: NEW CANDIDATES
LATEST ON THE CANDIDATES!!
Hi Boys,
Just to let you know that after talks and more talks, backwards and forwards again, we now know for definite who will be our next two new mates that will take over Mick and Marcel´s places from the start of Season 82.
They are…
Jon Davis
https://www.gpro.net/gb/ManagerProfile.asp?IDM=719671
and
André Martins
https://www.gpro.net/gb/ManagerProfile.asp?IDM=919728
I would also like to inform you that Tomasz Reda was supposed to be one of the chosen mates, but after almost 3 weeks of telling me that the photo was being approved, it has after all not been done. This even before being on the team yet, already shows us that he was not honest with us, and he also now told me that he can´t be active and would only race all races.
Nothing like the sort of good teammates that we have in the team.
Besides, both Jon and André have again come back to me with nice posts that I will post in another day or two after I receive one more note from André, as a matter of fact, I now think that Jon is going to be a pleasant surprise for us.
Thanks for taking note and answering as well!
Tommy.
